An effective BI strategy would include consultation with
all departments within the organisation to find out what metrics
they are currently using, and how these can be improved on.
Are these the most effective measures to use? Are they accurate?
Does everyone agree on what they mean? By involving the whole
organisation, you are far more likely to get buy-in for the
project, and so help maximise the value you get from it.
