Q: HOW HAS THE INTEGRATION OF THE SYSTEMS PROGRESSED?

A: The sales ledger resides in our membership system as this allows historical information to be kept on our members’ purchases. This can be used later for marketing purposes.

The sales ledger information is then transferred over to the accounts system but not in the same detail. While the integration has been completed, there are still some minor coding issues, and information has to be manipulated before it is transferred over. However, both companies are working effectively together and this problem will soon be resolved.

We also have an e-commerce system, which is part of our website, through which you can purchase our academic books and manuals, book onto a course, register for Congress or donate to our Petsavers charity.

The e-commerce system is integrated with the membership system which in turn links to the finance system.
