Justin Waters: the transition from paper registries to electronic file plans has been slow and painful

We have a major problem when it comes to corporate information – it is difficult to get people to store information in a way that allows other people to find it.

The root of this issue goes back to the time when companies used paper-based registries – a centralised storage area for paper records where important information was stored, ordered and archived, and from where information could be quickly retrieved.
