In contrast the big bucket approach, adopted by the Web 2.0
movement, eliminates the reliance on a file structure – instead
having a flat hierarchy with much greater use of attributes,
as well as user ranking.
This might seem to reduce the overall management structure
of the information repositories, but it significantly increases
the intuitive search capability of the system as the user
does not have to know the existing file structure in order
to be able to navigate the system.
