For businesses with large numbers of employees, making a
decision on HR technology investments used to be a simple
choice between three providers – SAP, Oracle or PeopleSoft.
But making this decision in 2007 has become far more complicated
for HR directors. Why is this and what can organisations do
to minimise the impact of this complexity on their HR systems?
There are an increased number of credible companies offering
HR technology, due to the growth of niche and second-tier
suppliers. And many buyers have invested in specialist applications
for certain key HR processes – such as performance and talent
