Effectively managing business processes requires significant
investment in time, effort and resource. So should organisations
manage all their business processes using a ‘one size fits
all’ approach – or should they scale their effort in a measured
way? Should you manage business processes within the context
of business strategy, or simply manage them reactively?
Organisations understand that they need to change rapidly
in order to build or simply maintain competitive advantage,
and this could mean reviewing and revising fundamental business
processes – either to build some unique quality into their
products or services, or to introduce productivity enhancements.
