At its core, becoming an SOE is all about reorganising the
enterprise to increase its collaboration with customers, suppliers
and other trading partners. From this can come greater efficiency,
faster time-tomarket, reduced costs, and improved flexibility
and responsiveness.
To accomplish this means changing from a silo capability
to a market capability model – a shift that has been underway
