Conspectus November 2006 - Summary

Nearly four in ten companies have an IT environment based mainly on integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) packages – compared to just 6% who rely mainly on standalone software.

ERP has bitten deep and the current trend to standardise on an enterprise-wide service oriented architecture (SOA) is only helping to confirm its pre-eminence.
