separated from the mainstream operational and business systems
(in telecoms-speak the OSS and BSS). However, the more switchedon
operators are beginning to take stock.
The Austrian operator ONE – partly owned by four European
mobile phone heavyweights including Orange Group and Telenor
– realised that given the growth in the number of partners,
