The proportion who view data quality as ‘bad’ also drops
dramatically from 46% to 8% and the proportion of those who
now label their data quality as ‘excellent’ doubles from 3%
to 6%. Three times as many are also prepared to call their
data ‘good’ (36% compared to 11% previously).
In fact, improved data quality is one of the key benefits
organisations are seeking through the use of data warehousing
– nominated by 42% of our sample.
