who revelled in the technical requirements of stitching together
different applications. Now it is a frontline activity whose
business benefits are at least as significant as the technological
challenges.
The current economic climate means there is little money
available for investing in new IT systems, so many organisations
are keen to find other ways of improving the performance of
their key applications.
