And the message coming back to the Board is that if they want to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their freight forwarding networks, they need to get physical.

The key to achieving control is total pipeline visibility. If you think of the supply chain as a process, then it can be measured, managed and improved. Process improvement can only happen if you have the monitoring of the process in place.
