of BPO will take time to filter through
HR and payroll systems have been around for decades, and
the benefits of automating what are often very mundane data-collection
tasks are obvious.
But lately new HR applications have concentrated on passing
some HR responsibility out to third parties. These demand
more careful use and a clear overall IT strategy if they are
to prove as successful as the original systems.
