In many companies, financial, accounting & reporting systems
have been stretched uncomfortably close to breaking point
in recent years. Cuts in corporate spending combined with
increasing demand for new types of reports have pushed often-elderly
applications to the limit of their functionality.
But the trend towards getting more out of what is already
installed – rather than looking to renew the core systems
or add substantial extra features – may be on the wane.
