The survey also shows a wide variation in the types of integration technology currently in use. While platforms such as J2EE (26%), COM/COM+ (28%) and .NET (32%) all currently attract roughly the same level of interest, it is .NET that looks set to grab most of the action in the months ahead.
Only 8% of those polled plan to use J2EE in future and 2% will be opting for COM/COM+, but the proportion of .NET champions is likely to increase sharply, with 26% indicating this will be their preference in future.
