The CRM market has been treading water for the past year, amidst disillusion about the performance of existing implementations. Yet many companies remain committed to the fundamental concepts, with new technologies such as portals and business intelligence providing a vital lifeline to rescue many floundering projects.

These are the broad conclusions of our annual Conspectus survey into CRM software. This year’s survey, like last year’s, finds the majority of companies to be dissatisfied with their CRM efforts so far.
