Finding employees is a gigantic job, especially when that includes the workforce at its broadest – executives to cleaners, full-time, part-time or temporary, salaried and hourly, contingent or temporary workers, contractors and temps – regardless of how they entered the corporation, via headhunters, staffing agencies, temporary staff providers or direct.

What to call this sometimes-massive staffing effort is a matter of debate. Some simply call it recruiting, others refer to it as sourcing or workforce management. Another buzz phrase is ETM (enterprise talent management).
