The most common reason for abandoning such an implementation, mentioned by 16%, was the lack of a clear business case for the technology, coupled with a lack of management commitment (12%).
Financial factors also play a part, with 12% citing the high cost of solutions as a factor in their decision and 10% reporting problems with funding for capital investment.
