The largest projects with the greatest value were running
consistently late. These late projects were expected to deliver
most of that year’s growth. If historical performance was
overlaid on this, it looked very likely that the projects
would fall even further behind.
In this example, some individuals in the business were certainly
aware of the situation. But when an insightful visualisation
was promulgated, it became an issue that obviously required
action.
