A respondent from within the IT industry feels that changing requirements is a bigger issue here than with some other application areas, while an organisation from the education sector says that changing the company culture is a problem, since users tend to revert to their previous processes and facilities if they do not like the new way of working.

This last point is picked up by another respondent, who argues that making users aware of the software’s capabilities is a major challenge, and training issues are mentioned by both a retailer and an IT company. Capturing the requirements is difficult for one organisation, which has 70,000 users, while another laments the difficulties of specifying how to deploy the technology to best advantage.
