MoReq’s role is very much focused on developing the specification of the EDRMS system to support the records management programme developed using ISO 15489 and the organisation’s information management strategy.
It provides a template for setting out the organisation’s records management requirements. It describes each requirement and then gives a detailed definition of each function, making recommendations as to whether the function is seen as ‘mandatory’ or ‘desirable’.
