Growth in adversity

In 2001 and 2002, the IT market experienced a great shift in spending, marking a dramatic change from the optimistic dotcom era.

The coupling of the events of last September 11 with the beginnings of the major scandals involving Enron Corporation and its audit and consulting partner, Arthur Andersen, as well as MCI WorldCom, has caused enterprises of all types and sizes to pause and take an internal look to see what they can do better.
