Projects are clearly a vital part of being in business. Organisations need to invest in them to create value in ways that cannot be achieved just by continuing with business as usual.
Yet, by all accounts, business leaders are not seeing the value of their investments – especially those in IT – and are changing the rules as a result. The consequences for the people who have traditionally benefited from the investment, are uncomfortable and permanent.
