More supply chains are moving online, but companies are struggling with the implementation issues involved, according to our latest research. Pat Sweet reports.

Web takes hold - Part 2 | Part 1 | Part 3

The big question is when that online move is going to happen. Currently, half the sample (50%) say they use the web for purchasing, with 40% doing so for either selling or order status applications.

Slightly smaller numbers are opting for web solutions in areas such as order management (38%), track and trace (38%), and supplier management (28%).
