Organisations who plough ahead with new systems without getting their infrastructure bedrock in place first are simply wasting time and effort. Unless new systems can be integrated back into a stable set of back-office applications, they are likely to die away through lack of use.
With an integrated approach, the value of existing systems is preserved while new systems are delivered. And because so much time and money is saved by eliminating the need for constant fixes and patches, organisations can devote much more of their budgets to new development.
