  COMPANY FILE

Ilford was founded in 1879 and has been one of the leading players in photographic and digital imaging for over a century. An independent company, Ilford supplies photographic films, papers, chemicals and processors, as well as advanced digital imaging equipment and consumables to a range of professional and commercial imaging markets.

It is the only company to have integrated research and development activities for dyes, inks and media used in inkjet printing, and to offer a full range of colour papers and films for digital photographic applications.

Ilford Imaging is a privately owned company with around 1,500 staff. It operates globally, with 17 sales operations and two manufacturing plants, one based in Switzerland and the other in the UK, at the group’s headquarters in Mobberley, Cheshire.

We created a team which spent about six months studying the company and establishing how the various systems had been set up. During this time, other than a few confirmatory checks, we hardly touched BPCS. At the end of the process, we built a data map which is still live today, and remains a prime driver within our IS organisation.
