All too often, organisations buying a financial and accounting system leap straight from their perceived symptoms to a specific solution – avoiding the difficult ‘black hole’ that identifies the real problem and therefore the best-fit solution.
Obviously, systems suppliers are quite happy to allow this to happen as they wish to secure a sale – particularly in times when trading is difficult.
