A: We originally had a non-Y2K compliant system. In 1999, we introduced a stop-gap system, purely in order to meet the deadline, which we knew would work for a few years and would give us enough time to research what we should do next properly.
We had several big issues which we wanted to address. Firstly, we are running in several different countries across Europe, so exchange rate losses are a key consideration.
