A: We are coming out of the warranty period at the moment, which has proved to our satisfaction that the tools can deal with the very large volumes we have. While we have not pumped data through in a live situation, we have certainly pushed enough transactions through to convince ourselves that the software will deliver what we need in the timescale we have.
Our plans are to transfer over what we call the pipeline data – that is, open orders and current information – over a weekend in order to avoid downtime for our customers. We can be more relaxed about moving over the historical data, which will probably take place over some weeks.
