Despite the economy, the need to integrate new e-business systems is driving many companies to increase their investment in software development and integration technology. Pat Sweet reports on our latest market research.
As to who is carrying out the integration projects, many of our sample (40%) are relying on an internal development team, while 24% are making use of the application vendor’s services, with a small proportion (8%) opting for the services of an EAI vendor.
Whether these integration projects are successful is open to question.
