A: We started looking at the problem about three years ago. At that point, it was possible to do it using SAP’s own technology, but concepts such as mySAP.com were not that far advanced at that time. The most likely option was to use SAP’s internet transaction server (ITS) as the means of handling integration and data movement between the ERP system and the web.
