TWO YEARS AGO, industry was being hit by a veritable explosion of ‘e’ technologies, and it was clear that there was major confusion surrounding the subject. Very few companies, if any, had anticipated the real impact of the net.
Instead of moving up logically and smoothly to embrace the next wave of technology – which in essence it was – the internet hit industry like a super wave and many felt they were drowning.
