Founded in 1982, Computers in Personnel Limited – Compel – is a privately owned UK company which provides PC-based Windows HR software.

It is Investor in People accredited, ISO 9001 approved and is a holder of the Royal Warrant for the provision of HR systems to Her Majesty The Queen.

Compel’s products cover personnel, recruitment and training administration, absence management, skills matching, payroll integration, people development, and delivery via an intranet. Compel HR Decisions provides data analysis tools.

All the systems are designed to work dynamically with one another, and are available as standalone modules.

The Personnel, Recruitment and Training Manager products include an intuitive data selection and sorting facility (the subset), enabling users to select groups of individuals for reporting, graph generation, bulk update of records and letter production, automated task management and to store a variety of file types against an employee or applicant record.
